June 19 – 21, 2020 – Lake Cumberland Thunder Run is a Poker Run Sponsored by State Dock Marina and 2020 will be the 12th annual event! Come out and enjoy live entertainment at the first of two Poker Runs of the season! This is a super charged event and one not to miss! Lake Cumberland Thunder Run is a very popular event, so be sure to secure your lodging early! July 4th, 2020 – Fireworks over Lake Cumberland at dark is always a popular event, whether you are on the water or watching for the shoreline. Party at either Jamestown Marina or Lake Cumberland State Dock and enjoy the show!
August 1, 2020 – The World’s Largest Raft Up on Lake Cumberland is back! Grab your float, and raft up with us! Live entertainment will be performing all day on the party barge. For additional information, call 270-343-2525.
Aug. 6 – 9, 2020 – The World’s Longest 127 Sale is always the first Thursday through Sunday in August. The route spans 6 states (Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama) and is nearly 700 miles long. Highway 127 runs right through Jamestown and Russell Springs and we like to do it right — with loads of vendors and unique and hard to find items!
August 21 – 22, 2020 – Lake Cumberland Bluegrass Festival is one of the best Bluegrass events in Kentucky and 2020 marks the 17th Annual! Friday night concerts begin at 6:00 pm and Saturday festivities will start at noon. You will hear the best Bluegrass Music from National, Regional and some of the best local performers. If you go to only one Bluegrass Festival, make it this one! The event is always held on the 3rd weekend of August at the Russell Springs KOA Campground Stage . Festival Information: 270-566-1488.
